Iolite

Iolite -is a lovely violet-blue or indigo colour. Gem-quality iolite is found in alluvial deposits as small transparent, waterworn pebbles in Sri Lanka, Burma, Madagascar and India. Other localities include Namibia and Tanzania. Crystals are found in Germany, Norway and Finland. Iolite is associated with Sagittarius. Iolite was called the water sapphire because it was prized by Viking voyagers. Iolite brings joy and laughter into the home, and will bring inspired solutions to problems at work.
