If you’ve scrolled through a hundred near-identical solitaires and nothing feels like you, you’re in the right place. Our unique engagement rings are made by master goldsmiths in our own workshops, one at a time. No two designs are the same, and many of the stones are cut especially for the ring they sit in.

We work in 18ct and 14ct gold and sterling silver, using hand engraving, enamelling, Mughal art, jaali, kundan and stone carving. It’s slow, careful work, and you can see it in the finish. You can read more about the people behind it on our artisans page.

What makes an engagement ring unique?

Usually it’s a mix of things: a design that isn’t mass produced, a stone chosen for its character rather than its grade alone, and hand finishing you can see up close. Every ring we make is one of a kind.

What is an alternative engagement ring?

It’s any ring that steps away from the classic white diamond solitaire. That might be a coloured gemstone, an unusual cut, a gold setting with engraving or enamel, or a mix of all three.

Are coloured gemstone engagement rings hard-wearing enough for everyday wear?

Yes, with a little thought. Rubies and sapphires are very hard, second only to diamond. Emeralds, tourmalines and topaz are slightly softer, so the setting matters. We’ll happily advise on what suits the way you live.

Can you resize my engagement ring?

Yes. Our rings can be resized on request.
